This is a great way to be. Games are for fun. For those that wan't to know they're getting better (rather than just feeling better about stuff), having measurable, identifiable goals to achieve is important. Again, games are DEFINITELY more fun, when you're just playing for fun. But if you feel like you suck and want to improve... then you do what you gotta do.
