Your accomplishments will only be reflected on the platform in which you've earned them. In this specific case, you will only see your accomplishments in Destiny 2 on the Xbox platform.

guess what you guys JUST talked about cross saves and I don't want to have to start over at 305 light just because I want emblems, will there be a way for pc players to get the veteran emblems that doesn't involve destroying your progress?

  • Well in this specific case shouldn't your marketing/PR reflect this fact openly, there is a reason people are asking about this so much: the reason is the marketing/PR talk keeps saying how important our Legacy and our time in Destiny 1 is and how it will be preserved and reflected in Destiny 2, but not once does the marketing/PR say *EXCEPT ON PC BECAUSE REASONS. Just be up front instead of letting people get their hopes up and then have to dig for an answer that should've been provided honestly with your fans/players. Should learn from past mistakes and promises from Destiny 1 PR/Marketing.

  • For those upset by this, does any other game give rewards or carry progress between platforms? If I were to start again on Playstation, I have ZERO expectation that my progress would transfer. I would start again. Might be the same game but the coding is completely different. You made the choice to change console. Nobody made you do it. Start over and get on with it.

  • Just getting my voice heard as someone who is saddened by this. I made the switch from xbox1 and just bought a PS4 only play D2. I bought D1 a few months before Taken King and raced to complete my Moments of Triumph. I repped my Y1 Moments of triumph emblem forever. This decision was made for a reason and I know it would help me and I imagine others if we could understand the 'how come'. We keep all of that information in our Bungie Profile. Could you not pull a report of everyone who meets the criteria for each emblem and who has registered 2 platforms and then push the rewards to them? If not, help us understand more. I'd rather be informed and disappointed than disappointed and ignorant.

  • How is it that you can't just link the rewards and Guardians to the bungie account and use that as the basis of the transfer to PC? It's 2017, Rockstar was able to do this with the PC version of GTA V and still rewarded veteran players. Even going out of their way to instantly unlock previously unlocked Online achievements from the console versions. Won't surprise me if PC veterans put together a closed group that is locked off to all PC players that haven't been playing since D1.

  • I'm in a predicament that I haven't seen anyone else post about; I have been playing Destiny since 2014 and still quite active to this day on ps4 however I've grown quite tired of my psn ID since I made it ages ago and there is no option to chnahe your PSN ID short of making a new account all together. So its either be stuck with a PSN ID I do not feel connected to anymore or switch to my new account and lose everything.

  • That's more a PSN issue than bungie. If you could transfer progress like that between accounts it would open a window for those who were account banned to find ways around it. It's just too much work and risk for Bungie. It's sonys issue on not allowing you to redo your PSN tag.

  • I have to agree with the census; veterans should not be punished for switching platforms. The only reason why I am switching in the first place is for PS4 exclusives; and it is quite unfair to those especially switching to PC.

  • You really need to address PC directly in regards to this. You make a post for This Week At Bungie saying you don't want people to think, "If only I'd known I would have done X, Y or Z". Well now you're leaving the PC community up in there are whether or not it's worth it to buy Destiny 1 to get some of these items before August 1st, or for returning players how much time they should put into some of these.

What about PC? Will those of us looking to transfer there get anything? This is an important question. We've been told that the team is looking in to it for a long time now, but with the cutoff point for data tranfer only 39 days away, they must know the answer by now.

  • Unfortunately there will not be veteran rewards given on Pc since you will not be playing on the same Destiny account.

  • They're smart people, so I don't need to tell them that they're going to disappoint a lot of people with that move. They must have known that and decided that it didn't matter. I can see why that clarification wasn't front-page news; It'd damage PC sales rather sharply, I imagine. I know I've switched my platform since learning it.

  • Why would you not allow vet migration? Especially with addition of PC.

  • Yup don't necessarily find this fair as I'm choosing to mainly play PS4 and Pc and not the Xbox one which I have earned all the veterans rewards on

F(_)ck me right..? I suppose I shouldn't be surprised given Bungie's track record, but not even a tiny bit of rep to D1 players switching platforms?

  • This is horrible. Not only do you cater towards ps4, but now you are punishing veterans who decide to switch to ps4 from xbox one. Please rethink this.

  • Can you guys maybe be a little more intelligent in these decisions? I can't rep my destiny 1 progress on pc then I'm guessing? If only there was a website that knew all of our accomplishments in destiny 1. Oh wait that's what bungie.net has! If only you guys could figure out how to have that carry to another platform.

  • This is a terrible path to go down in the determination of veteran rewards...use your bungie.ent accounts that have our linked platform accounts. This way you can do the character migrations, assign the rewards to our bungie.net accounts and we can carry them to whatever platform we choose to play destiny 2 on..

  • You guys need to seriously rethink this! Especially since PS gets all the exclusives. My clan is switching over from Xbox because of the exclusives. It's really shortsighted to not make those rewards accessible to the Bungie account as a whole. I know it's possible since I have one of those emblems that says you joined Bungie.net back in the Halo days. Founders emblem maybe? If you can track that, you can track the accomplishments across platforms.

  • way to -blam!- over players switching to pc, put up with your crap from ps3/xbox 360 all the way till now and finally get the chance to play on pc and I won't be rewarded for the shit i've done 4 -blam!-ing times.....

  • This pisses me off quite a bit. If you're not going to recognize guardians that are switching consoles/to pc, why do it at all? Bungie claims that they respect and wish to commemorate those who have accomplished these feats across the base game and all dlcs ($100+), yet fail to do so for everyone. If there's an xbox/ps4 legality conflict, I could understand that. Not even those switching to PC can receive their commemorations though? Lame. I'm in the same boat as the OP; switching from Xbox to PS4, and I'm very disappointed in this decision. I feel robbed. Try to experience D2 on what Bungie has always claimed to be the best platform for both D1 and D2 (PS4), and end up getting punished for it. GG Bungie.

  • You can not delete a Bungie account....only link a new one....but Year 1 game achievements will not transfer to linked accounts....makes total sense.
