just finished the Microsoft conference, and they closed with gameplay of Bioware's new IP Anthem. It's pretty much a copy of the Destiny design and story - Humans surviving in a last city thanks to a big wall, and these guys in power armor are the protectors of it. But whats different is the world is actually huge and open. Exploration is a factor, dynamic events and destruction, loot drops. If you play the Anthem demo and the first stage demo of Destiny you'll probably see a lot of similarities. However, unlike Destiny, Anthem looks to be doing a lot more with open worlds and quests instead of isolated zones like Destiny. Now I'm still gonna play, of course, anthem's not coming for a while. but when it does drop I'll probably end up spending more time there. Was wondering if anyone else feels like Anthem is what Destiny was supposed to be? EDIT: added a video link to the reveal demo.
