Do you want to know why they removed LMG's? Because with the rockets in PVP, you can kill the enemy team once, maybe twice, if you're good and get them grouped together. With an LMG and a large clip, you can kill the enemy team 3-4 times. That is entirely unbalanced. To balance out the removal, they added SMG's. They moved Snipers and shotguns to the power weapon slot because they're the only weapons capable of one hit kills. Fusion rifles have been powered down so it takes two bursts. This is called balancing, removing the constant use of one hit kill weapons in the crucible. A [b]shotgun[/b] is going to kill me in one hit, [i]JUST like [b]Gjallarhorn.[/b][/i] A [b]sniper[/b] is going to kill me in one hit, [i]JUST like [b]Sleeper Simulant[/b][/i] A [b]fusion rifle[/b] is going to kill me in one hit, [i]JUST like [b]Raze-Lighter[/b][/i] All of these weapons [i]SHOULD[/i] be limited in use, harder to get ammo for, because they are [b]POWER[/b] weapons, and far more damaging. They also [i]ADDED[/i] more elemental primaries, and the ability to change the element on them, [i]and the ability to add extra powers to them.[/i] And they made Heavy Ammo spawn MORE OFTEN in the crucible. And, [i]you can STILL have a sniper, and LMG and whatever primary equipped you want[/i], or did you not bother trying the Titan class and the "auto rifle" exotic from the beta? I was running the [b]definitely-not-an-LMG, an auto rifle and a sniper.[/b] As for your complaints about raids, no. You think they're going to pattern raids after D1 and ignore the new weapon system? And "this is how raids were in year 1" [i]that's how raids STILL are[/i]. Every Oryx group wants [b]black spindle, touch of malice or sleeper simulant[/b]. Every Crota group wants [b]Icebreaker, Gjallarhorn, and hunters with golden gun[/b]. Every Aksis group wants [b]Dark-Drinker and The Warpath with Cluster bombs[/b]. It's called game meta, there will ALWAYS be a weapon or set of weapons that are the most efficient way to beat the raid, every single game that has raids develops game meta as players find out how to do the most damage in the least time. for every single thing they removed, they added two more things. The removed LMG's, they added SMG's and grenade launchers, and handed you an [b]LMG PRIMARY[/b] in the Beta. Quit complaining, the changes are done, either accept them and move on, or don't accept them and don't buy the game. The majority of players enjoy the new weapons systems, and understand why they changed it the way they did. The rest will just have to adapt. Bungie did not make Destiny to pander to you.

Who really gives a fúck anyways, no matter what any game company ever does there will always be someone who will have a little tantrum about it. Play the free beta, if you dont like it don't buy it. Just remember if you don't like it to relentlessly shitpost, this will make a lot of difference. By that I mean to my morning crap, if I wasn't able to read random strangers on the Internet argue about shit that ultimately makes absolutely no difference to anything, well, I'd have to read something else that's the same....but different.
