In Destiny 2, can you stop basing weapon "balances" on Trials of Osiris? I know you consider it your most "competitive" gamemode but not everyone who plays the game is a weekend try hard, never seen throughout the weekdays, kind of players. This is of course if you do bring trials or osiris into Destiny 2.
Can you also stop with the blanket nerfs and large balance patches? I think people in the community will understand if you try out a small change to a weapon and see how it's use changes. If the changes aren't what you wanted, revert the change and approach it from a different angle.
Also remember to keep PvE players in mind 100% of the time. They will definitely be your largest community base. Don't bend over to the will of a select group of sweaty players because they come across something slightly unfair about a particular weapon, at a particular point on the map in PvP.
Keep the game fun rather than trying to be the most competitive.

The whole of destiny 2 has been based around competitive pvp that's why special weapons are now heavy slot! They will unfortunately always listen to the cry baby kids in trials! Give it a month after launch until the first nerfs based of people crying in pvp
