Enemies should have more majors, stronger enemies, and weaken the guardians, making night more fun than ever.
With the traveler taken over, we should do less damage in the dark, and enemies should be naturally stronger, I'm talking about some dying light stuff, and I mean Nightfall kind of hard. I wanna be running toward the camp toward sun down before the darkness arrives.
Someone wrote about the traveler maybe corrupting the area because of whatever may be happening to it. Make that the reason for the night to be more dangerous...you get these mutations that come out at night, fighting even the regular enemies, and you must fight all of them...the mini boss would drop maybe a special class item. Just a thought.

I agree. We should get a message on the screen that says something along the line of "what a horrible night to have a curse", and then all of the adds that spawn in would be twice as strong.
-
We're Guardians, not weaklings afraid of the dark. Bungie would never allow it with their Guardians are supposed to always feel powerful approach.

Edited by Boi Harper: 5/31/2017 4:55:15 AMThat is a great idea. I would like to feel that sort of survival atmosphere in Destiny. Better yet, there should be a patrol station at the Tower ruins where stealth mechanics are prominent. You would have to take out loose Cabal patrols and if you are caught, a Cabal soldier would do their weird snorty battle cry that would summon a Harvester ship deploying difficult enemies with a Mini Major Boss. To make things better, the Harvester will linger until you have eliminated its squadron, then will fly away to bring back another wave of Cabal to occupy the area, leaving you time to escape with a giant bounty on your head being blared by Cabal sirens. With this bounty on your head, other Guardians patrolling the Tower completing patrol beacons and bounties are able to kill you for a high-quality reward. This of course will put an even BIGGER price on THEIR heads for other Guardians to collect. Loot to be achieved at the Tower ruins will exclusively come in the form of Engrams, only to be decrypted at the Tower after being extracted by a Hawk from the ruins. When you undergo the extraction, you will have to fight off difficult waves of Cabal being deployed by a Harvester. At the Tower will be intel you can examine and extract from Cabal units or other sources for yourself to read about weaknesses and locations in the Cabal occupation at the Tower. This could enable you to do some personal vigilante work at the Tower by infiltrating and boarding Cabal ships to get closer and closer to higher commands and craft in the Cabal ranks to spy on, sabotage, and assassinate targets as well as get closer to freeing the Traveler. I know it seems a little more like The Division but I think it's cool. Tell me what you think.

Fallen a beautiful princesses during the day, comes nightfall though, they turn into ogres -
Sounds pretty damn cool. At night make the enemies stronger and pop up in larger numbers in lost sectors. Give better rewards. Would be a very nice addition.

Oh god the Dying Light flashbacks... -
Blood Moon from BOTW- Every enemy in the area you killed is resurrected.

The only ridiculous thing about this post is that "yes" isn't at 100%.

That would be pretty awesome! It gives me a Dying Light vibe.
-
Wow. You literally just described Legend Of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Stronger enemies spawn at night making it seem like you're weaker. That's what you want in D2. Can't wait for skeletons to spawn..

Elites hatch from eggs... They really do!

This isn't minecraft.

I think it'd be cool if you got a notification that a nearby guardian needed assistance if a lower lvl was being out matched in a firefight, i like helping lower players with their normal fights

Edited by BranDamage25: 6/1/2017 4:28:10 AMWhat if every night the EDZ were overrun by swarms of Zubat? Repel's effect wore off...

It's a cool idea, I like it. This sounds like it would be really cool for something like the Lost Sectors. I don't know if I would want it straight up like Dying Light does it though, certainly have more enemies pop up and make it a little harder. Maybe even have the enemies show up more frequently during night? Or perhaps something like when the enemy moves against each other like they do every so often now in Destiny.

I'm still holding out hope to make the sun a playable space...

Love the idea. Though, will in be in game time or world time?

Sounds good having to sneak past enimies would be a nice change not just running through and obliterating everything let us be overwhelmed

Are we having day/night cycles that don't take years to trigger?

All I want is dynamic weather

I would think that activities in general should appear as well in this idea you're describing.
-
I do NOT want a Dying Light-level difficulty, but an increase in Major spawns and other tweaks like that sound really cool and fun.

Because it's FFXV???
