No one is twisting your arm to purchase anything from Eververse. It's called self control. If Sandusky and Jared from Subway practiced it around kids they wouldn't be behind bars.

Bungie should refund to everyone that who did in game purchase, because Amazon and Google are returning refund to kids that who make in app purchase

What did Billy and Johnny have in common? They went to Jared's. Srry, couldn't resist.
-
I noticed Subway stopped advertising $5 footlongs about the same time it came out that Jared was slipping kids his 6".
-
It should be illegal because they target kids who do not know better about spending money.
-
How would kids have access to spending money if they didn't have parents that allowed it?
-
They do not see the bill until too late
-
As a father of a 10 year old, I have to say it's a personal parenting problem.

Edited by BegFourMercy: 5/30/2017 10:23:35 PMNot. Let's say your kid buys 1000 dollars of nothing. Preying on kids. So you would be fine if the school charges 10 bucks for a 1 pct chance for a lunch. It's the same.

Except this game is rated T for TEENS, they should have a sense of what real money is. Now if parents buy the game for their 5 yr olds, thats on them. Same with parents taking their kids to see Deadpool. There were warnings everywhere from the ratings, and to Ryan Reynolds himself before the movie started gave the warning. Its parents ignorance and they pay the cost. Bungie shouldn't be to blame
-
Yes they should. They just want people to buy without regards to morals.
-
It should be illegal because they target kids who do not know better about spending money.
Who's fault is that? Sounds like a life lesson that a parent should be teaching.
-
How are the kids getting money?
-
It's tied to the live account credit card. You should need password.
-
And THAT a Sony/Microsoft problem. Still not Bungies
-
Sheep. It is useless items just for preying on kids or stupid adult gamers.
-
Whoops replied to the wrong response but either way I think your mixing 'preying on children' with running a business
-
Running a business. Lol.
-
Like I said in my other post 60 bucks is just not profitable for a game anymore but the industry knows no one will buy at a higher price so this is how they compensate
-
If the game is good it is, look at the Witcher 3, delivered and awesome game with cheap just as awesome dlc. They didn't get greedy and now they have millions of fans waiting for their next title. Bungievision on the other hand have burned millions of people with their shitty business practices.
-
And which game made more money? Still makes more money? We both know the answer.
-
Probably Destiny, let's also not pretend the reason why it sold that well in the first place, new ip from bungie, was hyped through the roof. The point I'm making is people have been burned by blatant lies and this microtransaction crap. Destiny will lose players, cd Projeckt Red are gaining players by being a decent company.
-
I just don't think that trying to make money makes you not decent. Quality games are great and we need more of them but to expect a large dev like Bungie to put that before a profit is just unrealistic and unreasonable
-
Well only a few actually buy anything. Just sheep would waste money. Let's see the stats on what was spent and by age group. Give us the details. It's a scam and will be illegal soon.
-
So this is why they release $80.00 ~ $100+ versions of the game physically AND digitally, for no one to buy/pre-order? Look, [servers and its ilk] its psychologically rapacious against their own customers and feeds on an addiction. Its a horrible trend in gaming and will only get worse as it gains wider acceptance :(
