I want games to be more diverse

I wanted to make this post to really see what people think on the subject. Maybe not pertaining to destiny, but with the reintroduction of older wars in games like battlefield 1 and COD WW2, there has been a lot of debate surrounding the stories and the characters in them. Obviously, Activision and EA want their games to appeal to as many people as possible, but they also want to give the gamer a semi-realistic depiction of a major historical event. What do you think? Should games be more diverse for the sake of losing a little authenticity?

  • I imagine that history is more or less whitewashed and there's actually much more diversity then we think. At the end of the day all i care about is whether or not the game is fun. Being historically accurate doesn't exactly mean shit to me. At the same time I wouldn't do anything extra just because some people are pissed off about something.
