Simple solution: use the same button to pull out ghost. Once ghost is out, have the d pad be used for selection. You could sync 4 consumables. Bam!

In a game like Bloodborne if you press the pad on the right side you get the emotes menu and on the left side you get the consumables menu. In gta 5 if you touch the pad you can change your weapon and if you pressed it you change to first person view. Edit: might be a problem for xbox owners though.

But when you pull out your ghost your up and down arrows are already used up to scroll through fireteam chat, active modifiers, etc.

Edited by kilboy (Inept): 5/24/2017 10:21:25 PMThe irony being if you play on remote play on ps vita this is how it works for emotes. So it's not like they haven't already thought of it. You hold down a d pad button and the face buttons are then emotes. (The trade off being using the vita sticks you can't hit the side of a barn from 5 yards away. ) So you could have one dpad direction for emotes, one for consumables and still use the other 2 for quick emotes or consumables.
