Anybody still looking for a great sniper?
Well I happen to be a expert. Here are some of the best snipers and where to get them!
Her Benevolence: 28 prison chest. Good because it can be rerolled. This is not year 3 light and can be used in iron banner or trials of Osiris
LDR 5001: Vanguard rank up. Good for high aim assist and for the good perk pool
Y-09 Longbow Synthesis: Crucible rank up. Same reason as the LDR 5001
The Winged Word: Trials bounties and 7 wins. Good set roll and great sight. Snappy but harder to obtain
Runners up:
Event horizon: Crucible quarter master. Three in the mag and a bad perk pool
But Not Forgotten: Archons forge. Just overall meh
Ex Machiena: WOTM. fires to slow. bad perks

And just how in the hell is event horizon in the 'bad perk pool'? I've gotten about 5 to drop with hidden hand and shortgaze and various elemental damage. One of them even has quickdraw, and I think 3 have spray and play Also, my But Not Forgotten is pretty amazing. It dropped with hidden hand and single point sling. Not only can I swap weapons fast, but I can also save myself with an emergency quickscope

Edited by DHunterMG: 5/25/2017 1:33:03 AMMy only complaint abour the Ex Machina it's that the scope it has it's ugly compared to the Aquila, which also highlights enemies in the optimal combat range and looks so much more smoother in that Omolon-siva theme the Ex Machina has. My go to it's the first Event Horizon of RoI era, which was decent: Optic system SLS20 (I really like how bulky and powerful this scopes look, hate me as much as you want), Spray and Play, Explosive rounds and Hidden Hand. (But the perfect sniper will always be my Gozen-C/Scipio-E (which it's the direct upgrade from the Gozen-C) with that OS SLS20, looked and felt powerful enough to shoot down a cabal deployment ship).
