Hearing Myelin Games talk about the lore, and other lore minds, is great. I don't have the patience to go do it myself, but it's incredible to hear about the wonderful backstory that this world has. I actually feel bad for people who know nothing about the battle of twilight gap, and Yor, and the crows, and Skolas's history, etc. I think the Zavala backstory video expresses the issue the best though. I mean, people seem really hyped by what we get to see. I'm pretty sure most of that is in the Grimoire though. It's not really new, we just get to see it. It's kind of the difference between reading a religious text and seeing a miracle. If you only read the text, it can seem pretty underwhelming unless you REALLY understand what's going on. And if you only see a miracle, you'll marvel and wonder, sometimes at the simplest things without seeing the REAL power behind it, and you won't actually get much understanding out of it.
