Seriously. This isn't a rant, or a player being all judgy. I'm just curious as to why people seem to leave almost every match I'm in.
Is it all the red bars? Perhaps lack of post-match rewards combined with getting curbstomped out of the gate? Need a B-Line for the Control bounty and didn't get it? Maybe you just needed 1 more primary or weapon kill to finish a bounty?
Bungie can tweak PvP all they want (new matchmaking settings or the switch to all 4v4 matches), but I fear that this problem will continue in D2 unless they can address all of these problems, not just lag/latency.
Or maybe I'm dumb. That's certainly a possibility. If you're someone who leaves the occasional (or every) match let us (and hopefully our Bungie overlords if they even read this stuff) know why.
Edit: Also, are there any changes other than the obvious ones that would persuade you to stay in matches despite the reasons you quit? Like staying in a laggy match if you knew you were getting a guaranteed legendary or exotic drop afterwards?
Edit 2: Another thing, why does it always seem to be in the first minute of the match? I swear 60+% of the time it's within 60-90 seconds of the match starting, you can't possibly know you're going to get stomped out that early.
Edit 3: Trending. Awesome. This is some good stuff here Bungie, you really should be paying attention. Also, I know sometimes people lose connection to the game or have to use the bathroom, it happens. I'm more interested in why people pull out their ghost and actively leave a match.

Because getting rekked by the same guy 5 times in a row is not fun. So leaving and joining a different game might solve this so you can have fun. I'm not a ragdoll...
