Pre-orders have been available for a month now and it's a very popular game. Seeing as it's [b]limited[/b] edition it's not a surprise that they're sold out.

But that's exactly what I'm saying. Even a Limited edition should have more than a month's worth of copies for such a large fan base.

No it shouldn't. The point is to get people to opt into the game early, limited numbers are how they press for that. They might announce more copies in future months, allow basic buyers to upgrade, but they have to keep the hype up and hearing that editions are selling out prompts others to buy now not later.

I honestly hope you're right about the more copies later and I can totally see what you mean. This has caused almost everybody I know to preorder even vanilla copies of the game right away. I never really thought about it just being a marketing ploy.
