Crazy thing is technically Kabr was alone. He may have opened it with other guardians however they were then erased from existence by the oracles. Erased so that they never even existed and no one could ever remember their names because they were never born to begin with. Meaning they then weren't there to help him open the vault. (And no Pahanin wasn't in Kabr's fire team. It is confirmed he was sent looking for Kabr after he was missing)

 • I seem to remember a TTK mission, on Venus, that has you enter the Vault of Glass. Ya know, that mission where you get the No Time to Explain. What was it called again? Paradox? Yeah, that's right. And in this mission isn't there a guy narrating throughout, who's skeleton you find at the end? I think his name was Praedyth? And I think I remember him saying something along the lines about how he and another Hunter, Pahinin? Pahalin? Phaline? Something with a P! had entered the Vault of Glass with Kabr, and Kabr was intense sometimes... and doesn't Ikora say she knows Praedyth's name, from various pieces of gear and scattered text? From this mission alone, it stands to reason that when an Oracle changed the fireteams reality, they made it so they ceased to exist, and all memory of them was erased from everyone's minds. But, they only ceased to exist from that moment onward. Not what you suggest, which is that the Oracles made it so they never existed in the first place. Another thing to take from this mission, the Oracles only made 3 fireteam members stop existing, though they altered the reality for all 6. Kabr forgot about all his comrades, but continued to exist. Pahinin (I honestly don't remember how to spell his name) escaped the Vault and became "insane", and couldn't remember his comrades. Praedyth (if I recall correctly) got stuck in an infinite time loop that the Guardians break in Paradox, but his memory ws never altered by the Oracles. In other words, you are incredibly wrong. #TitanMasterRace

 • Well I assumed that it was more of a... PARADOX scenario... (thank you very much terrific audience) where they were erased and never existed but had also existed to help him get in before the oracles erased him from existence. (Hence the name of the mission Paradox)

 • Except that in the mission paradox praedyth clearly talks about entering the vault with Kabr and Pahanin. "Kabr was intense sometimes and Pahanin was always talking to himself.".
