I am finding more and more that the people who complain about the current meta were essentially shotgun warriors, or people who just did not know how to primary at all.
The current primary meta is fairly balanced out. Sure special is a crapfest, but you know what? The flinch on that Ice Breaker is insane - just fire a few primary rounds - pew pew - and 9 times out of 10 that hardscope hero is showing you his arse as he runs in the opposite direction.
Personally, I have had no issues dealing with this new meta at all.

This is exactly what they are. Former CoD casualties, who have been conditioned to shoot at the central mass, and whinge and moan about TTK being too long. They lack the ability to aim, and so resort to the lowest common denominator, base weapons, such as the shotgun. Destiny is not CoD, I wish people would stop truing to morph it into that game. I love the new meta, and I love the TTK.
