Welcome ladies and gentlemen, to the worst meta ever. This is so bad that I'd rather play Infinite Warfare then Destiny: Ice Breaker. The loosing special ammo upon re spawn is complete garbage and the laziest patch I have ever seen. The ONLY viable options are the Ice breaker and wormwood. Honestly, they aren't even that good. But, id rather use a gun that actually HAS AMMO. Seriously they are running the damn crucible it's ridiculous. Wormwood isn't even that annoying, its mainly ice breaker which is absolutely infuriating. I've been forced to completely change the way I play because I never have special ammo, I've changed into the "primary meta". Which is completely BS. To tell you the truth I would enjoy a primary meta, if the primary's could kill as fast as year 1. Now I can shoot someone while wiping my ass for an hour and they still won't die. Year 1 had the best meta. Special weapons were still incredible, but the primary's were just as good. Yes, guns like the Thorn and Last word were OP but if they nerfed those and kept everything the same. BAM BEST META EVER, because you could kill somebody in less then a year. What bungie turned this game into is horrifying to even think about. Bungie here's some advice, don't listen to the bitchy people. A gun will always be better then others but that does not mean they are OP. For example, YOU NERFED THE NO LAND BEYOND. THE NO LAND, ITS FUNNY EVEN THINKING ABOUT HOW MUCH YOUR RUINING YOUR GAME. But, you can fix it, ask anyone and they will probably say year 1 was the best. Go back to the roots of destiny with fun guns and higher kill times. This doesn't even feel like the destiny I fell in love with, and give us our special ammo back, please. Now that I have calmed down about this I will take all feedback because this is my opinion and I will respect yours.
