i don't get why people want pvp separated from pve.
you can definitely achieve a balance if you try hard enough.
one of the core beliefs for destiny is that a gun works the same way no matter where you use it. Touch of Malice excluded.

Headshots...instakill no matter what game that's how it should be for ALL weapons.
-
Autos would be too good then
-
Alright then how bout this, everyone is forced to use hand canons and they do one damage normally AND they all have 5 rounds Aaaannnnddd there is no special powers
-
Hey no need to get defensive just saying if autos could 1 shot headshot why would you use scouts or hand canons? And as a scout rifle person that woul suck
-
Nah I get what you is saying. I just wanted to overreact cause it's fun
-
Most of the games that have both pvp and pve will mean one will suffer.

Edited by LHR Yungbleezy: 4/24/2017 9:16:33 PMThe truth clip nerf affected pve. Red death health nerf affected its use in pve. Sniper flinch. Just to name a couple nerfs in recent months because they were overused in pvp affected their pve effectiveness.
-
Yeah man you don't even know how bad the super sniper flinch has affected my pve experience. Trying to snipe the hobgoblins in VoG during the oracles is impossible thanks to it
-
Is this a sarcastic post?
-
It's more exaggerated. Hyperbole if you will. I have had difficulty sniping in raids like VoG. Like I said, the oracles phase specifically because gets really hectic and it's very difficult to snipe things like hobgoblins because you're flinching all over the place, there by allowing them to rip you a new one. Very annoying and never had the problem until they nerfed flinching due to crucible winers.
-
To be honest i don't run snipe for that part, luckily for me i got a legendary visions so i use that, a shotgun and a sword for that phase
-
Yeah I also use a legendary vision but I still keep a sniper so I can try to one shot them and stop the invincibility time. Maybe if I can get a found verdict to drop I'll switch to that

Edited by LHR Yungbleezy: 4/24/2017 11:10:33 PMExactly, now has anyone heard of any weapon that was to op in pve that affected pvp. Gally is the only thing that comes mind but that was just op in general. This is my opinion on why they should be separated.
-
I kinda like the health Regen perks now Instant chunk of health is kinda better than slowly regenerating health that can be stopped by the smallest bit if damage
-
Ya I understand that, I feel it was pretty balanced in pve without the nerf. I was just giving examples of how pvp gameplay affects pve weapons.
-
The problem isn't the weapons. It's the constant crying from pvp players that ruined pve weapons. Crucible needs to have its own gear, and weapons and it's needs to stay there.
-
Just cause they put the Kool-Aid on the table, doesn't mean you have to drink it.
-
Mostly because of the special and heavy ammo nerfs, I would think.
-
a viable clever dragon for pve is going to be overly strong in pvp, just as an example, unless they figure out how to make guns do more damage against minions of the darkness but not guardians (seems to only work with shotguns.....)
