It is absolutely beyond me why dedicated servers isn't on every single one of these lists at number 1.

Like you, my #1 requirement is functional Dedicated Host Servers. I will not put up with 3 more years of teleporting unkillable enemies and broken game mechanics for Shared (Crucible, Stirkes and Raid) Activities. And Bungie must do a better job at release than BF4 was at launch and TitanFall 2 currently is for their Host Server. So no functional Dedicated Host Servers means no Purchase of Destiny 2 for me.

You're right we do need those

Most of this community doesn't care about pvp. The Majority of players are pve first. ~ Making America Great Again ~

Dedicated servers would also benefit PvE. ~ Making America Think Again ~

You know, shit like Crota working properly, Oryx not being a dick or lag attacks if the host's internet is starting to take a shit. Lag isn't as obnoxious in PvE as it is in PvP but it would be a quality of life improvement.
-
It would but some slight lag isn't as crippling in pve vs pvp

There's a number of people who's priority isn't PvP so Dedicated Servers wouldn't necessarily be in the top spot, framerate/graphics and content would be. Those that do (or those that play PvE and PvP equally) may have higher on the priority list. Hell there are some that would rather get rid of PvP altogether judging from my poll results.
-
PvE profits from dedicated servers as well
-
People tend to make Dedicated Servers out being solely a PvP thing. Either way some of the more PvE oriented players may still list other things as priority.
-
That is an indicative that the vast majority of players regards PvE content and quality the top priority. PvP takes backseat to PvE.
