Hey Community! I had a very random thought about Destiny 2; If the Cabal are keeping the Traveler trapped away from us, how exactly are they doing it? Are they using some tech the size of a small Moon to trap it? Or maybe using something they learned of recently? Something small that can build itself extremely quickly and needs no real power source? Maybe SIVA? During a Rise of Iron mission, the Cabal are inside a Golden Age lab where SIVA was created, if memory serves. Could they have found out about SIVA's capabilities and are using it to trap the Traveler in a SIVA shielding of some kind? The "thing" surrounding the Traveler seems to resemble SIVA to some extent. Maybe? I don't honestly know, my friends. I'd love to see what you think of this truly random theory! Does anything in the Lore support this? Have I possibly hit the nail right on the head?
