Rezyl Azzir is Dredgen Yor
I have seen a lot of evidence that would suggest that Rezyl is not Yor -- from the fact that he wielded a rifle to him supposedly being a titan. However, with the new ghost with Crota's end -- I believe it's a new one -- The legend of Rezyl Azzir, he is described as having the Rose as well as his rifle Inferno. He even grafts the bones of a knight to his rose, which could theoretically create a thorn-like image. He also spins his gun "with a confident Hunter twirl" He's gotta be Dredgen Yor, right? Or am I making conclusions because I never grabbed this ghost, and I thought it was new?

Makes sense he'. WAs a Titan, now he's dead, that's why he get rekt by a golden gun. The dummy probably thought he was safe in his bubble.

6 RepliesI'm pissed by this. There was literally no evidence for the majority of Y1 and most of Y2 that Dredgen Yor was a Titan. Then this sh#t happened. Ruins the titans good streak :(

4 RepliesWhile I do love the story that ties together The Last Word and Thorn, I have to ask (because this debate gets really ugly really fast): what does it matter who Dredgen Yor used to be? I think that that is why it's so vague; whether you know his identity or not, nothing will change the fact that he fell to Darkness and his Rose became the cursed Thorn. I know people have their reasons to want to know who he was, and I'm not saying that you are wrong to want to know nor am I saying that you should stop speculating. All I'm saying is that this shouldn't be something that people fight about in the forums.

23 RepliesThat Ghost is new, but there was more evidence supporting the fact that Rezyl became Yor long before that Rezyl was a Guardian that was a beacon of hope to others, Yor used to be a beacon of hope, both were said to be the first Guardian to go to the Moon to see if the Hive really awaited them there, both encountered and were cursed by Xyor the Unwed, and both came to doubt the Light, and that Yor's Thorn used to be Rose and he decorated it with Hive bones (this is all from old grimoires). Now with the new grimoire we know that Rezyl wielded Rose and decorated it with Hive bones It should not have taken this newest grimoire to prove that Rezyl was Yor, but with all the biased people out there it took direct confirmation from Bungie to finally end the debate
