Alright so kind of a long story here
I was homeshared with a friend of mine a while ago on Xbox One. One of the things I was getting from him was the Taken King. He bought the season pass for DS3 for us, so the deal was that I would buy Rise of Iron for us. I pre-ordered it, played the hell out of it, all that jazz.
ANOTHER friend of mine who ruins everything like a big idiot downloaded my account onto his Xbox, despite my insisting that he shouldn't. He went ahead and did it anyway, because as I have previously stated, he is a dink, so then me and him were homeshared, not my other pal. We couldn't fix it afterwards, and that was the last of the three homeshares you're allotted in a year, so we had to wait exactly a year to fix it.
The other day, it rolled around and the friend I'd originally with had homeshared with another friend. I tried playing Destiny, but it told me I had neither the Taken King nor Rise of Iron. Bought Taken King for myself, but it's still telling me I can't play Rise of Iron, even though I had bought it originally. Uninstalled it to reinstall it, but it turned out that in order to do that, I have to buy it again.
Does anyone have any tips, by any chance? I'd prefer not having to shell out another forty dollars for something I should already own.
