If bungie doesn't want fast ttk, can we have consistency in weapons back and better perks back?

I KNOW MY USER NAME IS NERF, BUT IM BEING SERIOUS RIGHT NOW. When I say bring back consistency, I mean revert the range/stability/accuracy nerfs across all weapons. If you don't revert them to y1 status, at least buff them to feel more consistent so they don't feel like complete 💩. THE INCONSISTENCIES... Autos have had their range and stability nerfed multiple times, and in top of that, all the y1 perks were nerfed as well. For example, hammer forged on Suros regime. Handcannons especially. We all know about the ghost bullets, and the insane range falloff. The exotics are still stuck with the y1 perks too, putting them at disadvantages. THE "TRADEOFF" PERKS... Replace all the "trade off" perks like reinforced barrel, casket mag, handlaid with the prepatch y1 perks. Yes you get a big chunk of range or stability, but then you get a big nerf to something else. What was the point of these in the first place? To make our guns feel even weaker? Rifled isn't a bad perk, but hammer forged pre nerf gave just as much range and increased accuracy with no trade off. Perfect balance gave as much stability as hand laid or braced frame, but had no trade off. Perfect balance now gives the equivalent amount of stability that fitted stock used to give you which is pathetic. And the fact that fitted stock is just a crappier perfect balance, why even have it in the game? These tradeoff perks don't "balance" the guns. They are just unnecessary as hell. USELESS MIDDLE COLUMN PERKS... I think all guns, including exotics should have a bonus perk slot. Why? Because perks like skip rounds, armor piercing, high cal, lightweight, snapshot, and QuickDraw are trumped by stat mod perks. Who's going to use skip rounds over rifled barrel? Or even snapshot? NOBODY. Not to mention Armor piercing rounds, high caliber, QuickDraw and snapshot were nerfed. So yeah, I wonder why nobody uses those. THE NERFS TO BASE STATS... In case some of you don't remember, the taken king (patch 2.0) said they reduced the base stats of the newer weapons because...I have no clue why they did that at all. Another reason the y1 weapons were stronger then all the weapons after y1. SUMMARY... This will make all the weapons in destiny better feel better without giving them fast time to kills because apparently bungie doesn't want primary's killing too quickly. Thanks for reading. EDIT: I FORGOT TO MENTION HOW -blam!-ING TERRIBLE AND UTTERLY USELESS SPEED RELOAD IS. JUST TAKE IT OUT OF THE GAME AT THIS POINT, OR UN NERF IT. BECAUSE RELOADING YOUR WEAPON QUICKLY WAS SOOOOOO OP EDIT 2: Well, apparently age of triumph will be the last update to destiny. BUT, i think some of this will be relevant to D2 if weapons and perks are similar.

  • I'll always say this about shotguns, their range wasn't the issue, it was how quick a guardian could close the gap to get within killing range. The simplest fix would've been stagger from billets, meaning taking shots during your shotgun charge strat will slow you down. Because sometimes they're twenty feet and close the gap when you need that last shot, you've landed the others and they closed the gap just at the right time. That's what was so frustrating about shotguns in this game. Every game has a shotgun camper, but they're playing the shotgun in the best distance possible, close quartered. So you would try to learn to put distance, in destiny that strategy wouldn't work because blinkers, or skating titans will shoot you before you could get your last shot. Snipers was an easy fix, kick out of zoom. Don't go crying about that because halo had this and a good sniper played well even with that feature, you're just bad if that feature ruins your sniper spree. Specials should be just that, specials. A sniper should pick you off before you shoot, not during a storm of bullets. Fusions, they're still beastly in the right hands and at this point I'm only killed for not being evasive as much. Sidearms, welllllllllllll.
