I would like some deeper customization for my vault hunter. Something more than just a recolor and a head. I don't care too much about these things but it would be nice to have.

This. Maybe make it so skills and items effect the appearance of your character more than it has in the past?

i just dont want it to be too excessive all it needs is maybe a head, recolor and armor option?

I have played it but I couldn't really get into it.

I'd spend an easy hour changing colors on my frames and weapons!! It's nuts. I don't even color coordinate in real life!
