Doesn't the sleeper fit that role, I was thinking of a grenade launcher or a gatling gun like the cabal.

Right, but I'm talking about an entire weapon class semi-similar to the Sleeper Simulant. It would allow legendaries and exotics that would function kinda like the Sleeper. Also, remember that the Sleeper Simulant won't be in D2.
