So many great games this fall. Destiny 2 will be a backburner game for me. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing D1 but I think Bungie has shown that it's best to wait and see. Give them some time to figure things out initially before you buy their games. The progression and loot system in D1 for the first 3-4 months were ridiculous.

Unfortunately, it got incredibly worse in Year 2 (for first 6 months). How could that be? I agree - I'll wait and see if Bungie can sort out their game. I'm cautiously optimistic.

I think that's fair.

But don't miss out on that Possible week two of a weekend vendor to sell a weapon you'll grind for later cough gally.
-
Haha, that's true, I actually missed it that week but RNG was good to me and got it shortly after, well before I even realized how good it was. Bungie will just nerf anything useful into the ground. Frankly I think they've learned from D1 about how to manage perks. I think we'll see weapons be more neutered from the beginning.

Who wastes an exotic slot on a heavy weapon?
-
I do for almost every activity. Mostly Dark Drinker. But there is no telling if D2 will have swords, or even a weapon class called heavy, or elements, etc...
-
Haha I was joking. That's what everyone was thinking the first time Xur sold gjallarhorn.

Sorry. I remember the week 2. Couldn't tell if serious...
-
I think it'll be much more smooth this time around. I'm looking forward to this one quite a bit actually!

Hoping for the best, man. Nothing would make me happier than D2 being a game that I'm compelled to buy soon after it's released.
