I think the information that was shown on screen was likely mis-interpreted (either by the game or yourself) If this was a Destiny message, then it could be reporting that you have been restricted for[b] poor internet[/b]. You would never receive a restriction or ban for "too fast internet". Additionally, the restriction notice would have told you for how long your restriction was for. The first offense is usually 1 week, then subsequent offences go up on a weekly scale. You need a[b] premium connection[/b] to play Destiny, so it could be possible you don't meet the requirements for playing PvP, which will cause a restriction. If you are actually banned, it had nothing to do with internet speeds or quality. When you get the message again, take a screenshot and post it on here.

No you were not banned for having internet that was 'too fast'. Either you mis-translated what was stated or you simply are avoiding the truth in this matter (usually it is the latter). There are very few reasons for getting full on banned in Destiny. Some of those include: playing on a modded console (you play on previous gen consoles - hmmm not suspicious at all), manipulating network traffic (again a common occurence on previous gen consoles), or playing a pirated/jailbroken version of the game. Now only you know which of these it is but I am sure that if we do a Google search, we will probably come across a few websites where you might be discussing and/or downloading/uploading software intent on modifying things, as is the usual case because people forget about Google. Regardless, the policy is clear that once you are banned, you will not be unbanned for any reason [b]PERIOD[/b]. You are forever locked into that place the Vex keep tucked away from time and space. You will not be un-banned, your ban will [b]NOT[/b] be discussed and you may NOT appeal your ban. It is for good Guardian so I hope whatever you did was worth it. And in case you are thinking about just creating a new profile and starting all over, just as an FYI, they have started both IP banning and MAC address filtering those that do things such as that. they do this all the time bungie dont remove bans sorry you have to make a new user or give up ps if you got restricted and not banned you have to just sit and relax
