A warning to any Destiny players that have a physical disk. If any of you have a disk be aware that in line with Bungie's plan to retoractivly remove all Destiny content physical copies of the game have been programmed to explode on the release date of Destiny 2. They advise removing the disk from your console before that date to avoid causing damage to your console. Once remove the disk should be placed somewhere away from people or breakable objects to avoid potential harm caused by the disk explosion. Bungie has not yet stated what to expect if you own a digital copy. However it is speculated to be less spectacular, possibly only creating bad sectors in the areas of the HDD where Destiny's game data is stored.
