Deus Ex Mankind divided = Muslim Simulator 2017
If you played the game you get the joke, but if you haven't played it yet, don't worry, this isn't an offensive joke.

1 ReplyI get what you're getting at, but I don't think they are quite the same thing.

2 RepliesWow no man your far off the mark. The story does have a lot of commentary on civil rights but it's more nuanced than what you think. The augs aren't Muslims, they don't ascribe to a draconian belief system that advocates for the subjugation of women or murder of anyone. Augs are normal people with cybernetic enchantments that previous to mankind divided in the last game human revolution were all remotely hacked and went on killing sprees. The resulting crack down on augs wasn't due to committing more crime per capita or waging jihad in the world but because they were hacked, as in they literally had no control over themselves. In the aftermath of such an event it's reasonable that both augs and normals would want to segregate as augs proved fatally vulnerable to tempering through no fault of there own. When you consider this it makes the story far richer as the augs aren't standins for a minority but are uniquely oppressed and regarded in a way humans never were.

5 RepliesDoes the game involve treating women as property, stoning gays, and viewing Jews as lesser people? If not, I doubt that it can be called a "Muslim Simulator"
