Just got SOTN

Never played a Castlevania game in my life, but I saw a couple of the ports for sale on 360 a little while ago and I've been playing it constantly. I just decided to get the one I heard the most about, so Symphony of the Night was it, and boy this game is awesome. Tough as hell too, I'm already stuck at the boss battle where you have to fight yourself. Edit: HAHA!! I just beat him! Take that, self!! Any tips? Nostalgic recollections?

  • An excellent game and one that has been a clear influence on a number of titles since. Everything from the music to the combat suite are superb for a game from that era in particular and some titles fitting into that space now can still learn from it. Hope you enjoy the ride and as mentioned, you'll likely need a bit of help to unlock the second half of the game. Some of my favorite bosses reside there.
