Never played this game the only castlevania i played was curse of darkness

I highly recommend playing this one. I'd argue it as the best game in the series. The only thing it shares are the Belmont name, Dracula, and platforming. The inclusion of the RPG elements are a game changer, along with the metroid style map and world progression. Definitely one of the best games for PS1 in my opinion.
