The proposed fixes are nothing but compromises to work around the real issue. The changes to special ammo result in two big problems: 1.) It slows down gameplay, because players have to search out special boxes instead of going to kill the enemy or control areas. 2.) It funnels you into certain weapon choices to be competitive. Players will use sidearms, and no land beyond to work around the changes in ammunition. Side arms getting ammo on respawn will still be the go to choice for special. The proposed changes will have no impact on trials. Players will still have to equip NLB or IB because you still lose ammo between rounds. Players will continue to have to equip sidearms for the same reason. NLB saw a 1000% increase in use after the patch, compared to the last time that trials had featured the same map before the patch. This could be fixed by either reversing the changes to special ammunition 100%, or giving players a set amount of ammunition that is not lost on death, and no special ammo boxes spawn. Bungie dropped the ball with the last patch. We should not accept a compromise that does not fix the issue. They need to either come up with a different solution, or completely scrap the changes that they made. Edit: Spelling corrections, because Siri is dumb.
