I'm capable of critical thinking, & here's what I came up with:
There's a group of people that don't like playing against campers. I belong to that group, & I think it would be great if Bungie found a way to make people stop playing like pussies.
Within this group of people, however, there's a large number of people that blame skorri for their lack of skill in countering campers. This stance is ridiculous, mostly because campers have camped before skorri was created, & they aren't magically going to become rushers over an artifact. The campers will find something else that makes camping easier for them, & the group of people that cried for a skorri nerf will ask for the next thing to get nerfed.
Basically, nerfing skorri treats a symptom instead of curing the disease, while ruining skorri's usefulness in pve.

The problem was skorris is that it rewarded players who camped in spawn. Without skorris, camping in spawn during a trials match puts that team at a severe disadvantage.

Yeah now they'll just camp around the cap point. Btw, camping at spawn puts you at a disadvantage right now. If you're camping with skorri, someone on your team had to get their super, which means the other team using different artifacts should all have their supers by then too.

See if you let them get a hold of cap point that is your problem, and if that is the case you will usually lose whether they have skorris or not.

Your last sentence is my overall point. I can't think of any situation where one team would lose because of skorri, so nerfing it won't change anything for them.

What? If a team camps in spawn with skorris they have a huge advantage, if they dont have skorris then they will be at a huge disadvantage. Pushing into someone's spawn automatically puts you at a disadvantage too, no matter how good you are. Nerfing skorris will end spawn camping and those that continue to spawn camp will be punished

Tier 5 vs other tier build... one guy got a few lucky kills in first round... doesnt matter either way sitting in spawn shouldnt be rewarded.
