Ghost Recon Wildlands!!! This beta has convinced me to buy this game. It is so good. I play on Extreme because I play all tactical games on the highest difficulty. I appreciate the realism and how enemies can actually kill you. I love how if you mess up a shot and alert an enemy, they will alert others or set off an alarm. That may even cause you to ruin the strategy and eventually die. I love how your teammates don't charge into battle without your command. The teammates don't take forever to pick you up if you go down. The teammates aren't any better than you so they go down occasionally. They are quick to respond to threats like actual trained operatives would be.
The AI in this game is amazing. I played on the PS4 Pro and this game looks great. Planning on buying it on Xbox though.
I appreciate how huge the map is, even though we are only allowed to be in 2 huge areas. The sheer size is amazing. The guns are affected by gravity which makes you rethink long range shots and adjust accordingly.
I run a Sniper rifle, sub machine gun, and regular pistol. The grenades do their job but if you have to use them on extreme than you are most likely already losing a gun battle.
The synced shots in this game work perfectly and the enemies follow your commands without alerting enemies, unless you tell them to do so.
I haven't tried online but if it's anything like single player, it's amazing. I will definitely be buying this game.

An absolutely disgraceful game Everything about that game is so old it's nothing new. I mean if you want to get it then good for you but I just think it's a waste of money.
-
Never actually played a beta to a game...
-
My friend just told me earlier it was named the worst beta ever
-
No, best beta is clearly Destiny. Been at it for almost 2 years, can't wait for the official release this fall!
/s for those taking me seriously...
-
Halo 3 of course.

Edited by Naja: 2/27/2017 12:27:52 AMIf I'm excluding 90% of other betas that have ever existed, yea I'd say it was one of the best
-
Edited by PhantomNomad206: 2/26/2017 6:52:09 AMNope PT
i know it was a playable trailer not a beta but still
Edited by Tartan 118: 2/27/2017 12:21:44 PMRemember when public betas were actually early builds of the game and not pre-release multiplayer demos used more as marketing tools than constructive development assets? Pepperidge Farm remembers. To that end, I'd probably say the Halo 3 or Reach or 5 betas were the best. The ones that lasted more than a weekend (good job on the painfully-short Destiny Xbox beta, Bungle) and contributed to the game's development by allowing millions to play an early build, instead of just a few hundred or thousand internal testers.

More power to you. I learned my lesson from the division. I'll be passing. I know I would love the beta, only to have my hopes shattered after about 10-20hours of full release play. Repetitive side quests is all ubisoft knows.
-
only thing it convinced me to do was save $60 and play mgs v instead
-
Don't do it. You're falling for the classic Ubisoft move. They make betas that make you think the game will be amazing, but the actual games are somehow worse versions of their betas...
-
I'm personally going to wait for a sale but it's good to hear that someone likes it. I think the game is good but I'm not willing to pay $60 for it.
-
How do I change the difficulty? Even the 5 skull region is too easy, and I'm not good at the game, so...
-
Realized playing earlier realized a few new things if a weapon has enough penetration you can kill 2 enemies with one shot and second if you mark target with the drone and use thermal vision you can see their body outline which helps a lot when shooting at long distances instead of shooting blind just by the marker
-
Can't believe I'm saying this but, Halo Reach's beta was pretty fun.
-
I guess you never played the WoW beta then...
-
Op forgot about Halo 3 and Uncharted 3's open betas
-
Looks mediocre to be quite honest. Just my opinion though.
-
My favorite betas were halo 3 and cod 4 mw
-
Remember when we all said that about destiny? And it's still in beta, three years later.....
-
Both destiny and divison beta was good imo

It felt like a Just Cause game but without all the fun stuff. The driving was really weird and sometimes hard to control. If a car runs over your pinky toe, you die. (It doesn't ruin the game but it makes for annoying moments) Most of the game just felt like "Go to place, kill people, leave" and rinse and repeat. I usually play any open beta for the duration since it's essentially a free game but man did i get real bored real quick. I really enjoyed For Honor's beta though.
-
For an open world beta, it certainly is at the top. I just think that they could've fixed the plane controls before announcing the open beta. They're horrendous.
-
Nah, Starhawk had the best beta.
-
I liked it a lot too. Plan on picking it up around June, maybe earlier.
-
Nah I thought it was pretty crap tbh.
