so some of you may notice that there are perks on gauntlets that provide increased grenade throw distance or increased melee attack speed. grenade throw distance allowing your grenades to travel further, straighter, and faster, and melee attack speed reducing the time you have between melees. in year one you were able to roll grenade throw distance or melee attack speed on helmets, but now they are only available on gauntlets, meaning you can only have one at a time. but there is a way that you can achieve both at a time (without using ophidian aspects) going back and getting year one blue helmets or raid helmets. these helmets can still roll with grenade throw distance, meaning if you have gauntlets with melee speed you can have both at a time. my warlock has a perfect setup, 5-5-0 build with a year one blue helmet that has grenade throw distance, as well as gauntlets with melee speed and hand cannon loader and a chestpiece and boots with sniper ammo. its a small thing, but certainly noticeable. i get asked all the time why i use the blue helmet so i figured i would explain. good luck in the crucible everyone!
