Truth is the perfect example of why PVP and PvE needed to be separated.
Truth in PvP: the perfect roll and stat rocket
Truth in PvE: just a solid rocket
Post patch
Truth PVP: it's ok but not worth the exotic slot
Truth PvE: complete garbage

My question is, why would you even use Truth in pve? Before the patch, it was maybe mediocre at best. A good Steel Oracle or Suros JLB rocket launcher would easily out class it in pve. I honestly see this as another change that hardly affects pve yet greatly improves pvp.

So killing an exotic is a great change for the game? Sorry but some ppl still like to use truth for void burn and killing an exotic for PVP is the main reason that PvE and PVP should be completely separated. Truth is just one thing but the nerfs to PvE due to PVP is absurd especially the special ammo nerf during TTK Oryx fight a raid depends on sniper ammo among others things (g horm nerf not included). As I see it Bungie should always strive for that perfect balance but PvE should be separated from PVP.

I agree that pvp and pve should be separated, but I think it was a reasonable nerf. I don't think anyone can tell me that they haven't gotten at least 1 void rocket launcher that they can use in pve. I know I will usually get at least 3 or 4 Steel Oracles a week from pvp, and I really don't have much time to play anyway. At least one of those is usually void. My point is, it doesn't seem like that big of a deal when Truth wasn't even the best option for a heavy weapon.

Its only good for void burn in pve as thats the only time it outperforms gally. Pvp it WAS top tier. Especially when you got 4 rockets (remember that?)

In void burn the sword or Telsto will always out preform it especially after the nerf not to mention the void Lord. You can easily find a better void legendary heavy to our class it in PvE now. The only useful thing to do with Truth now is to either infused it or dismantle it.

Let's be honest, it wasn't that good for PVE before the patch, now it's just disgusting.

It was mostly OK if you didn't have a better exotic to equip during voidburn activities.
