6v6 special ammo changes

Increase amount of boxes to Vanilla Increase respawn timer of boxes to 90 seconds You grab a box instantly and no need to reload You lose 50 - 75% of ammo on death. Dying again without grabbing more, you lose it all. Sidearms can't keept all ammo they had on death. They keep 18 rounds Kills with a primary (UR and NLB do not count) have a chance to drop special ammo Bam, 6v6 is fun and maps like shores of times aren't loopsided

  • I think you're the first person I have seen with such an abhorrent amount of shotgun kills. Your most used weapon? Damn! Personally, I love the new patch. Way more fun than the Matador meta. Side arms while yes are annoying, I'm even more annoyed because I've been using side arms since before the patch, is much better than getting bullshitted on by mapador warriors

    • Good post.... For me it translates to this: Why do side arms have ammo and shot guns don't!!!! Its not fair!!!! I cant enjoy the game anymore because I have to use a primary weapon and thats not fun for me because I am only capable of one-shot-sliding antics.Now I look a fool because I can only manage on average 4kils a match. Make me good again Bungie!!!!! Meanwhile all those with skill have been quietly awaiting this day..... GG buddy GG.

        • Or they could give you no special ammo when you spawn in. No sidearm ammo, no regen abilities on special weapons. One box of special ammo will drop randomly for the entire match and will provide normal special weapons with two full magazines and sidearms with 25--30 rounds. That is how the special ammo in this game should've been from the beginning. Bungie has created this special ammo dependent culture and it needs to change.

            - Lose all special ammo upon death. - Sidearms don't retain additional ammo upon death. Respawn with only one full clip or 18 bullets at best. - magazine is automatically loaded upon special crate pickup (like heavy) - 90s timer on special crate. - Primary kills drop primary ammo & secondary kills drop secondary ammo but you have to reload, to load them in your mag. - Profit, crucible is fun again.

            • Bullets don't kill people. Guns do. It's the most reactionary fix possible. Special weapons are not op. Specific special weapons and more importantly specific perks on particular special weapons are the problem. For example... Remember last time a new monarchy special weapon killed you? If so how bad did you mess up? 2 maybe 3 shotguns were a problem. 2 or 3 snipers. 2 or 3 perks. If we all agree to pvp with only sword hilts will they nerf? Based on precise and math the answer is yes. But they can't take away ammo so probably not.

                • 6v6 is perfect right now. Agree with the idea to instantly load the gun, only thing I think needs changed, this game plays a lot more like halo now and I love it but in halo if you picked up a fresh sniper you didn't have to load it. Should be the same here. Haven't played much 3v3 but it works fine as is with the exception of trials. I think they need to make changes to skorris then see how trials plays out, then make changes after that if it doesn't improve.
