The reason for all the class and weapons nerfs:
It's not to change the dynamics of playing Destiny - to make it more balanced or challenging.
The reason is so that you hate both your classes and weapons sooooooo much, that you have no problem losing all weapons and class progress when you migrate to D2.
Case solved.

I have not had much of any issue with changes for entirety of the game seeing as I think it is fundamentally flawed in important areas to begin with. All of this, "this is too much" "no this is not enough" back and forth is honestly small minded. This is the internet though so there is not much to expect.

Right. It's like a game. If we can get you to delete all of your favorite guns, voluntarily, then what would be left to take to Destiny 2? Fatebringer and Vex- still useful at 170 light? Still people hold onto them. But what if we gave you Fakebringer? Would you delete it then? Sure you played 200 strikes to get that Hopscotch- but what if we made total weaksauce? Would you delete it? Spare Change 0.25? What if we took HCR off Clever Dragon and made it fire as slow as the next archetype without increasing impact? You'll find new favorites. And we'll nerf those in turn. Any guns left in the vault that you love? Just let us know.
