You know what really grinds my gears? Orochi mains who spam (or atleast try to) guard break and then overhead light slash.... Why? If you do this You're ruining the game in literally every way in terms of a fair fun fight u____u.
Some people's excuse may be that they want to win or have a "good KD" which is extremely easy even though KD means nothing in a game like this (aswell for most other games.) But if you want to win or have good stats maybe you could learn the character instead of only knowing 3-4 moves?
With that being said, this isn't only with orochi that have spamming idiots. It happens with characters such as warden, lawbringer. But besides those 3 I haven't really had a problem with others in terms of exploiting and using cheap unskillful tactics.

Dude those are the easiest people to beat...
-
Orochis almost always try a top attack first from my experience. Learn to parry/block that and the dash orochis are easy
-
As an Orochi player this combo is overrated. It's good for quick damage in chains but landing the guard-break counter is super easy and makes it useless. Orochi is not a good character to spam one set of moves. He has some very strong attacks but if you don't use them at the right time in the middle of damage chains you won't land them. Play Orochi. That's the best way to learn to counter him. That's all I wanted to do when I started playing as him but by the time I understood him I loved the way his moves chained together.

Maybe you could learn to counter those 3 or 4 moves I only know
-
As a warden hey if I can get u into a should bash mix-up I'm gonna -blam!-ing do it. Also nothing pleases me more than when that orochi goes for that top slash and I could get it.
-
I would rather fight people using cheap shit over Level 3 Conquerer bots any day. Those mother-blam!-ers gave me 'Nam flashbacks........
-
Is that a pro orochi?
-
Just dodge until their stamina runs out and then attack, seriously it isn't hard to win fights unless you are outnumbered
-
Im not an Orochi but that's all they have. Top lights and zone attack are the only good attacks they have. Side slashes are super slow (very parryable) and the dodging side attack is also really slow. Just brush up on your counter guard breaks and always block top in your duels and your golden.
-
Just counter guard break, if that doesn't work rolling away cancels it out, you can also just Dodge it, or just block the first light attack.
-
Spamming the same combo is a surefire way to get yourself killed. Orochi is weak shit anyway, I'm convinced no class is this game is OP
-
Warden non spammer main here, all assassins are the Bain if my existence there speed and dmg output is way to high

Edited by Upperclass Bum: 2/20/2017 10:07:34 PMI don't have the game yet, but from what I can tell, it's a lot like how in fighting games you simply need to learn how to adapt and counter. If someone is using the same move repeatedly and you keep falling for it, you've only yourself to blame... Especially if it's a character that's known for people spamming with them... Get good, scrub...
-
I main orochi and never spam guard break but if i see a chance to use it to finish you off. So bet it.
-
You can counter guard break, right?
-
Orochi isn't OP silly. Everyone just happens to choose him!
In all seriousness, Orochi pisses me off.
-
Why guard break and overhead light slash when you can do overhead heavy slash? What scrubs.
-
Lawbringer spam? Even if lawbringer did spam (I'm assuming you're talking about shove) they can't get any damage off it unless theyre fighting a retard.
-
I've found that they are generally scumy people. I joined an elimination match in progress, and right as the round starts the damn orochi hits me with an arrow and the throwing star, and leaves me with 1 bar of health. O had no answer for it :(
-
I love spammers. It means there's only one move to learn how to counter. If you can't figure out how to counter one move, you're worse than the spammers
-
So far countering throws is really easy to me. The timing in BlazBlue is so much more strict. I don't run into a lot of throw spammers, though.
-
I find that using a light attack prevents you from being guard broken
