Dude you are so right, I think its the whole 'meta' thing. In my opinion Bungie listen to much to what the players have to say instead of lookin for and finding out whats really best for the game, cause eventually they are the makers and have studied to know whats best for the game. Only reason for people to play bladedancer was the quickdraw so a lot of people dont play bladedancer anymore cause it got nerfed and then you get that you force players to another subclass and I guess thats not really what bungie wants, to force players to use top tier weapons and gear if you want to compete. Sidearms; Fine to spawn with ammo but for like 1 magazine, the problem is that you don't lose any sidearm ammo and that why people will mostly only play with sidearmswich makes any other secondairy opties less vialable, so I don't really get why you keep your sidearms ammo when you die while all other ammo is lost when upon dying. Also we need more why's, esecially when bungie streams about a new update, mostly we hear about the changes in dept but not why, i see you guys playing in a private match showng the community whats changed and the effect of it and its all fun and good but you guys dont seem to explain why something is really changed. Because of this people are to find out themselves what the new meta is and then you get the mixed feedback from the community. last but not least I like to make a example of this. A few of my friends decided to buy an xbox one and destiny. i find myself playing from day one but they dont have the gear or experience to match pvp yet, and what happened is that its so competitive focused that that arent skilled enough yet to compete in like trails or a normal pvp match cause they completly get wrecked by weapons and players that do have them. this results in my friends dont even wanna play pvp. I know its a personal preverence as well but still I don't think its the intention to force something on players if they wanna do good. PS: mabe a matchmaking type that allows fireteams or maybe 4+ to matchmake together to sort out the most competitive players against eachother and the lesser ones. Of course I dont know how it really works im just a player not a programmer at bungie but I think any tips are welcome. So let me know what you think and I hope that ShakaDula14's message gets some more attention from bungie then what it does now. Whippet6

  • Thanks Whippet! One thing I was wondering is why streamers who've been to the lighthouse hundreds of times continue to do so. I understand they're amazing, and that it gets viewers, but it makes that portion of the game inaccessible for those like me who've never been and wanna go but aren't good enough or can't find someone to carry. FAIR would be to say, fine. Play Trials. But you're only allowed to go to lighthouse once per character per week. INSTANTLY, the game becomes much more accessible for the average player that doesn't live in this game. And it allows those who've never been to perfect their PVP skill and have access to lighthouse. It's things like this that SHOULD be looked at but AREN'T that NEED to be put out there for consideration.
