People are using side arms because you spawn with ammo. Simple as that. If other specials still spawned with ammo you would see the same amount of side arms as you did before this hotfix.

This is why I use my Jabberhakke and Wormwood, the gun feels good up close but feels like throwing pebbles at people when you start pushing handcannon range. The gun isn't necessarily OP it just maintains its ammo, and I happen to like treating special ammo like it is. [quote]Special.....[/quote]

I agree with u that's the only choice u left to use, cose u can pick up as many special boxes as u want with a shotgun or sniper but no point u lose it
