Purchasing any pre-owned copy of Destiny will just get you the Vanilla game. The codes for the Collection itself is where the content and boosters come from

Could you elaborate on this, please? I bought this box off amazon - should I have expected there to be more codes in there with it?

Purchasing any pre-owned copy of Destiny will only come with the base game (Explaining why it is much much cheaper than buying new). The Destiny: Collection is actually the original disc from Year 1 released again with a code voucher for the content the Collection entails (Dark Below, House of Wolves, Taken King, Rise of Iron). If you purchased pre-owned, you will still need to purchase the collection DLC content either online or through the vendor.

You need codes to download the DLCs, which come with any extra items such as the boost. Yes, there should be a code in the box. If there is not, you'll need to contact the retailer.

Edited by vanilladome: 2/19/2017 5:51:52 AMBought this box used from Amazon. I'm looking up their return policy on this kind of thing right now :x edit: it's a fairly straightforward return, losses minimized. Thanks for the insight! Getting it new will get me all the codes. Shows what I get for being cheap :V
