A sword is a sword when it comes to cutting through skin. Thankfully you unsophisticated brutes have done yourselves the service of exposing yours so that you may fall quickly and cleanly to the tue masters of the land.

A blade is only as sharp as the wielder, and while we may be brutes we are masters of but a single thing, war. Our skin may be easily cut but our blades find home between those weak pieces of armor you hope will protect you.

It does not matter how you praise yourselves, be it as masters of war or any manner of things. You are not masters, far from it in fact, of the one true virtue in time such as these: peace. If not to the might of another army, your people will fall to infighting. You call yourselves family, but are you really? Your lives are barbaric and unchained, and such freedom can only lead to tragic disaster. What kind of life is led by he who must steal from others to prosper? There is no honor in such ways. If you cannot survive on what you have earned, you do not deserve to survive. What happens when you've conquered the land? Whom will you steal from then? You may take this opportunity to actually do some of your own work, but in time you will start to steal from each other, and civil war will erupt. Far worse has happened to far better people.

Lol, I didn't think we were arguing. More like posing philosophical concepts in a historical context built around our choice of faction in a video game.

True, but the same could be said about discussing Fallout. I've had several conversations of such nature with Legion mongrels that actually knew what they were talking about and had the "dignity" to "justify" their "cause".

Any cause can be justified, it just depends on how far you're willing to stretch your morals.

Killing that is truly merciless and purposeless, (the R word that gets you banned for passing the filter, involves forcefully... well, I'm sure that's enough of a hint), enslaving innocent women and children, and slaughtering and then absorbing the survivors of tribes across the wasteland. All this happening from the eastern bank of the Colorado river to the end of Colorado itself and then some. It's a blessing that tyrant Caesar was afflicted with a brain tumor, it's not like that murderous conquistador Lanius could lead them effectively.

They did draw from some more barbaric models but the concept of absorbing smaller groups into a larger one has existed among warrior groups for centuries if not millennia. Abandoning your morals or simply having a different set have caused wars throughout history and will continue to.

Such is the nature of human conflict. That's the price of diversity, the unfortunate reality that one man disagrees with someone so incredibly that he will combat his opponent to enforce/impose his ideology onto others. There is a spectrum of ideas and personalities out there that all conflict with each other in some way to various intensities. Moral can be a very difficult thing to describe. Personally I believe that there are too many undefined, unpredictable variables to properly define moral.

Morals are simply a set a values a single person holds to be true. The concept in a more classical sense doesn't allow for rigid social truth but a more flexible personal truth. While we fight and war, do we not care for our own who do not fight? While we destroy and pillage do we not spare the non-combatants? These are the questions that someone of a modern thought would apply. While a older question would be: Will this child grow and seek his vengeance, will he come at my people with an army because I killed his father and people? While we may wage war, while we may wish for peace. One must never forget that in war you must remember peace, and in peace you must remember war.
