No. Pondering it does not make it an opinion. An opinion is something that is not right or wrong. An example of an opinion would be I am enjoying high school. The definition of opinion is: A view or judgement formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. Your example of Are You In High School is a question because they have a [b]lack[/b] of said view.

An opinions creates a notion, therefore a subject. You wouldn't come up with a subject without an opinion. Opinion turns into an idea, so you might say I analyse it to its roots, compared to your analysis on its surface. = Shallow.
