Crusader Titan (Titanfall)
D E U S V U L T
Primary Weapon: Cobra, a machine gun that fires slowly at first but increases fire rate over time. (Similar to Devotion but not as slow or fast)
Defensive ability: Hard-Light shield
After a delay, Crusader holds up a shield that can block all damage that hits it, but has a limit on the amount of damage it can take before it breaks. The shield is large and can defend multiple teammates at the same time, but Crusader cannot fire while holding up the shield. Pressing fire will destroy the shield, and its remaining health will be divided and given as extra health to nearby Titans. (Example: Shield has 90 health left, and there are 3 Titans imcluding Crusader so each Titan gets 30 health.) Crusader cannot move while using Hard-light shield, and holding it up for too long will cause it to overheat and cancel.
Tactical ability: Shockwave
Crusader unleashes a shockwave that knocks back and slows enemies caught inside it. If it hits a friendly Titan, the shockwave extends slighty in that direction.
Offensive ability: Energy cannon
Crusader stores energy in his gun, which takes a few seconds. When fully charged, he can fire it at an enemy for increased damage in an area, or hit a frienly Titan to make their next offensive ability do more damage.
Core ability: Spark core
After a delay, Crusader launches a Spark. If it hits an enemy Titan, they are stunned and take more damage. If the Spark hits a friendly Titan, they are boosted with increased speed and damage for a duration. The downside is their brightness is turned up to max while boosted or maybe even more than that. If the Spark doesn't hit any Titans it behaves like an oversized firestar. If Crusader hits himself with it it doesn't count.
Execution 1: Overload
Crusader grabs the enemy Titan and rips the cockpit open while charging his gun. He jams it inside
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
and releases the stored energy, melting parts of the Titan until it explodes, sending parts flying in the other direction.
Execution 2: Shock and Awe
Crusader knocks down the enemy with shockwave and repeatedly slams them into the ground. When it is a deformed chunk of metal, Crusader drops the Titan and fires a few Cobra rounds inside to make sure everything's dead.
TLDR: A balanced Titan, his abilities are fine solo but are better used with allied Titans. blah blah Rein and Ana blah blah Deus Vult. I might add to this later.
Edit: Just noticed this was trending.
I imagine that the brute and expedition chassis will be added first before any new ones. However they still need 1 more for the arc cannon from the first game.
-
Titans from wow?
-
I want a Titan that is similar to the expedition loadout in the campaign.
-
This is basically -blam!-ing Reinhardt!
I -blam!-ing love it!
-
Wtf is DEUS VULT?
-
Wait... Link says "show banned" Was that thread ninja'd? Ayy lmao
-
I wonder what Blizzard would think of this.
-
Titans don't heal other titans...
-
Max brightness? Jesus what if you're playing at night. You'll be blinded.
-
So basically a combination of Reinhardt and Ana as a titan
-
I want more Titan executions
-
I got an idea for a titan ability where it's the vortex shield, but instead of launching the projectiles back, it absorbs them to power up and amp the shots of the Titan's primary gun
-
I like it.
