Am I at the max light I can be at before the raid?
I'm at around 372 and exotic engrams, legendary engrams, faction rank up packages, and crucible awards all drop at 372- It's been quite a bit since my light went up at all. So- am I raid ready at 372? If not where do I go? It's been a bit since I played destiny and I only came back recently so did they change how easy it is to become raid ready because before it was not nearly as much of a slow approach.

You would be OK in normal. I think your artifact is holding you back though. Try going into archons forge for a bit and try getting another artifact. That, or you can run strikes and open the chest at the end, sometimes they'll give blues that are higher than what you have. And I would save all of your exotic engrams till you were at least 390.
