senior citezens players
I am curious, are there special items or skill enhancers that can be used by seniors citizens ? At my age my reflxes are a bit slower than the youner players giving them a natural advantage. I am addicted to Destiny and retired so i get to play a lot. At 68yr i could use a little enhancement to weapons or skills to help . is there an over 60s forum?

Edited by Titanium900: 2/16/2017 4:06:59 AMIf you go into button layout and press x, you grenades and melee will switch with your shoot and aim. So you will fire on a hair trigger with RB instead of pressing all the way down with the trigger. I hope this helps.

1 ReplyMy suggestion is to keep practicing your reflexes. There are plenty of online of online reflex tests you can use to help yourself improve. Otherwise, I recommend you try to get guns with high aim assist or the perk Hidden Hand to help you get on track (Crucible vendor is selling the Event Horizon sniper rifle with high aim assist scope AND hidden hand). I don't think there is anything to give you a preferential advantage over, say younger players. But there are guns with higher 'assist' capabilities. For example, some guns have a might higher aim assist stat; people like to say that MIDA multi-tool is great for new players because of the ease of aiming and high aim assist to help you hit targets. If you look at this chart http://db.planetdestiny.com/items/weapons/primary/scout you can see that MIDA has a 90 aim assist rating. You can also roll legendary guns with aim assist perks like hidden hand. If you get a gun with high natural aim assist plus hidden hand, plus a scope with enhanced target acquisition, this can help somewhat. They used to say that if you used bladedancer with high agility, ran Radiant Dance Machines exotic boots and MIDA multitool (which grants you increased agility), you moved like greased lightning. So there are perks for agility or aim assist, but of course anyone can use them (the young people could use them as well). But most people might favor other perks over enhanced aim assist, so you might get a little edge in that area at the cost of things like range or reload perks or damage perks.

Try to go with hidden hand. For secondary i recommend queenbreakers bow, as it takes little to no skill with god aim assist and rolls. For heavy i would recommend Truth if you do not use QB, because this has very good tracking and requires little correct aim to use. For class i would say striker, because you are the fastest in the game and can run at other guardians and take no damage. Also, you can have a bolder hurled at you and survive mid super. Why not start a Seniors clan? That way, you can create your own forum, and attract like-minded players. Make it Over 50s, to get some (relative) 'youngsters' to join! 🤡 Kudos...and good luck! 👍

There aren't any enhancers that I am aware of. However, I will tell you this, people that play this game really like to rally around older players. It's probably better than any in game enhancements you could ever think of. It's usually against etiquette to use a real life attribute to try and curry favor on the internet, but in the case of our elders there seems to be an exception to this rule. The community has even managed to get one of our senior players featured in a [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/44986]Community Focus[/url]. If you think I'm exaggerating, post for any activity at all in Recruitment and mention your age in the title. I guarantee you'll have a full fire-team ready to take you anywhere you'd like to go in no time.
