Hate to break it to you but the traveler won't leave because rasputin won't let it. He already stopped the travler from leaving once, he will again

There is no proof that Rasputin shot down the traveler. Is there a plan to do it? Yes. Is there proof he acted on that plan? No. On a side note Rasputin's weapons had no effect on the darkness so do you really think it would have an effect on the Traveler?
-
Dude, There are around 32,000 grimore cards. I read one that explains that rasputin saw into the future using a vex machine (forgot what it was called) and launched multiple nukes at the traveler. To be perfectly honest I don't remember what card it was sorry.

Edited by filwilliamson: 2/16/2017 12:13:13 AMI have a lot of the grimiore cards and I have read all of the ones I have. None of them mention him having access to a vex time travel machine. Also you have to remember two things. One Rasputin would not want to antagonize the traveler into leaving due to a POSSIBLE future. Second, we still don't know if his weapons would have any effect. They had no effect on the darkness so why would they affect the traveler?
-
Look at the bottom of the traveler, what do you think happend there
-
Darkness could have done that
-
Did the travler have the damage on it when it was on Mars in the cutscene
-
No. But you have to remember. The traveler could have fought the darkness in space. Where there is no up and down. So that damage could have been from repeated attacks or the crippling blow. Then when the traveler descended to earth he (or she) would have rotated so the damage side was facing downward and therefore better protected from an air attack.
-
Remember the collapse. The collapse is the result of the travler attempting to leave, right. Why do you think it stopped
-
Because the traveler stopped it. The collapse was due to the darkness of the traveler. If you show me a grimiore card that proves I might think differently but as of now it is generally said that the darkness caused the collapse before the traveler supposedly tried to leave. The collapse was the darkness attack. Not the traveler trying to leave.
Hate to break it to you but the traveler won't leave because rasputin won't let it. Making us not able to us the light.

He can't because if it leaves it will destroy earth
-
He can't because if it leaves it will destroy earth
True but isn't that what we might be seeing, earth is full with enemy's, in destiny two going to the same place is boring there's have to be a reason why we might go back.
-
I'm not saying earth isn't going to be destroyed, I'm just saying that I think the travler won't do it.
I'm not saying earth isn't going to be destroyed, I'm just saying that I think the travler won't do it.
Let's see what happens
-
I really don't care what happens in the destiny universe, I just hope what happens doesn't make a bad game

I wish they would have a cinematic or release a story about all the grimoire from destiny 1 just before D2 releases. Such a pain to read each grimoire.
