What are you talking about? Half of these changes were made to appease the Varuca Salt Trials crowd.
"Waaah....a Skip grenade followed me...nerf it....Waaahhh....I died by shotgun in the air....nerf it...Waaaahhh......a Clever Dragon killed me....nerf it.....sniff....sniff....it's okay though if you want buff my guns."
I think a better solution is to create a solo Trails of Osiris play list where they play against dumb AI bots, so they are guaranteed wins every match. Wait....then the cries will be., "It's too EASY, Waaaahhhh........". Never mind.

LOL. I may be average, but don't give me this nonsense about not understanding balance. You are never going to get balance in a loot based shooter. It is self defeating. Besides, this constant cry for balance is nothing more than Mr. Hard Core demanding an advantage of some sort, for a part time play list.

If the game trended towards CoD I'd actually do better, but I'd rather it head toward Halo. I can't list any specific changes because that's way outside my comfort realm, but if you think the hardcore are just looking for advantages you're wrong. The dudes are complaining about Matador/Hand Cannons being overpowered while simultaneously solely using Matador/Hand Cannons. Sounds like a shit way to get yourself ahead.

CoD is the very definition of balance......and it's boring. I've been playing that series ever since it came out for the PS1. All the gear feels the same and it's all OP. I left CoD, for the most part, because of Destiny. I will vocally resist any attempts by players who foolishly want to go in to that direction. If a no-strategy arcade shooter is what they want, then they should go play Infinity War instead of Destiny. The last Halo game I played was Halo 2 for the original XBox. I don't have any experience with the latest versions. So, I can't comment on that. Well, I won't speak about all the hard core guys, but I find a lot of their constant complaints about "balance" to be highly suspicious. It's always about Trials of Osiris for these guys. A part time game mode, for the top players, shouldn't be driving the changes for all of Destiny. I don't play it and I don't appreciate changes forced on me from that crowd.
