Those nerf-herders would be crying if they saw Year 1 Felwinter's Lie. If anything we're wrecking you gently compared to Year 1.
EDIT: Here comes the salty nerf-herders to dislike my post. Thanks for further proving that you're all crybabies.

Actually this community has no right or entitlement to tell bungie how to balance their game
-
yr1 players have no right to tell yr2/3 players they have no right to complain just because they played the game longer from a day1 player also against nerfs fyi
-
Year 1 shotguns were more powerful, but so too were Year 1 primaries. Year 3 shotguns are a problem because primaries have been nerfed much harder than shotguns have been. Shotguns aren't OP. Primaries are ridiculously UP.
-
But personally I don't care about nerfs. I just think your argument doesn't work.

Edited by SkellyJester: 1/22/2017 5:14:35 AMScrew the shotgun warriors running around the map just to charge into close range and get an easy kill. Either people have to always be ready to go against them and carry weapons they rather not play with, give into the evil and be one of that losers running around, or they suffer and just deal. I rather see something done to actually make shotguns less viable for every map and not the weapon everyone has so they can get easy kills. It's more of the fact shotguns are so easy an viable to use to get kills tha most people use them and it gets old and forces people to do one of those three and it just ruins the fun most of the time.
Yes, I gave into the evil and carry a shotgun to deal with people along with a Clever Dragon... I hate that I do such as well and don't play PvP that much with those guns anymore.
This. Oh if only they could've experienced shot package alone.. Honestly I'd love to see them react to vanilla as a whole, they have no idea what "OP" even is.
-
As a Year One player, I'd love to go back in time to when Felwinter's ruled pvp. At least that way, not everybody could get their hands on one.

1. Shotguns are overused and the only primariesI see is clever dragon or last word, both high rate of fire. both take little skill and have the fastest time to kill. 2. Subclasses. All I see is warlocks and titans and a few hunters, most using bladedancer to quickly bodyshot last word you with quickdraw. 3. When I use NLB + sidearm people start complaining about it because it is "OP". Clever dragon needs HCR removed and matador needs some adjusting, TLW is just to easy to use and has a ridiculous amount of range if you look at what the stats say.

So, you think that makes it ok? I was there in year one, nothing's different people flock to crutch weapons, I mean meta's. when those get nerfed, they will flock to whatever the new meta is. I got killed the other day by a player using matador and clever dragon, no one on my team could damage this Titan. He did a STUPID emote dance on my ghost, he was obviously cheating. It made me think of someone shooting a lion in the zoo, then bragging about being a big game hunter. I laughed so hard at the scrub, but hey if that's what it takes for them to feel good about themselves. It's a game, it's just not worth all the drama!!!!!

Edited by panzerfaust: 1/21/2017 3:47:37 PMA meta without any options to counter it isn't a meta, it is plain sadism. So eventually while I don't agree with extensive nerfs to shotguns, I do agree something else needs to be buffed in order to allow people to use some mental game and counter the meta. The counter to meta should be as easy to use as a shotgun so that shotgunners also feel some pain for running shotgun. a 20% boost to range in The Chaperone and I'm happy to bury all those Matador douches 6 feet under.... While it is in God's scope to forgive, it isn't in my nature to forgive or forget.

I bet you asked for sniper nerf... No pity felt.

You have no right to stipulate to other people how they use their first amendment right to speech.
-
I think your sensitivity level is too high. You might want to turn it down a bit.

This is totally absurd. That's life saying that black people have no right to complain about anything nowadays, because back in the 1840's they were all slaves, so it's better now than it used to be. The point isn't how bad it used to be, it's whether or not it's bad now.

Edited by Kone19ps: 1/21/2017 1:44:31 AMYes they do. What we had does not matter. Stop living in the past. The game is as it is now.

Edited by efjay Odinson: 1/21/2017 4:24:19 PMPlease. Solely because you bought a game before someone else doesn't make your opinion any more valid than a player who just bought the game yesterday. Its not YOUR game.

People won't be happy until shotguns don't exist and they can camp at the back looking all mlg and getting quick scopes like little children

Edited by PandaScream: 1/21/2017 3:12:34 PMFelwinter's lie had range yes but it wasn't running the crucible like matador 64 is currently. At least when felwinter's was popular you saw many special weapons being used. I personally stopped playing Destiny one of the top 100 for most game time world wide because the lack of viability. Pulse rifles and shotguns are running crucible and a few other guns you see too but hardly. Atleast in other shooters you see other guns being viability.
Star Wars reference
Y1 shotguns were bullshit, but easier to get, and there was shit like Thorn and TLW and Messenger to compete with. Now there's just Metadors, your only option for a competitive shotgun. Not fun at all.
-
Bungie just uses them as an excuse to change up the meta and calls that "variety"
-
Lol. True.
