"You alright, Alec?" Alec jumps back. "Jesus, Ford! You scared the shit outta me!" Ford floats back. "Sorry, I just noticed you were looking at the bed." The back of Ford twitches. "Were you think about-" "Yeah, now shush. I don't want to think of it." Ford floats off, and Alec sighs. He sighs, and sits on the bed, remembering him, and how he died. He remembers his face, and the sound, and everything. They were on Mars, and cabal ambushed them. He watched him get gunned down by a colossus. He heard his scream. He saw his robotic blood splatter the cover he was behind. He ran to him, and used his golden gun on the colossus, and all the other troops. In his rage, his light burned, and he fired endlessly, piercing his enemies. He saw Sev's mechanical face. He heard what he said to him. "I... I'll miss you."
